I am so glad you are here.
I recently graduated from Texas A&M University with a master's degree in atmospheric and climate science. I went to undergrad at the University of Missouri - Columbia (Mizzou), where I studied environmental and atmospheric science. I graduated with a minor in mathematics, a minor in sustainable engineering, and a certificate in sustainability in natural resources.
I aspire to lead the world in sustainable development and climate action, through a social justice-oriented lens. I see the dire need and urgency to care for our environment. All communities, all people, have dignity and deserve to be cared for. The interconnectedness of social, environmental, and economic issues illustrates the need to dialogue, grow in empathy, meet people from different communities, and look at all angles when researching.
The injustices occurring in our world, such as lack of clean water, clean air, decreased biodiversity, and lack of proper food and nutrition only begin to explain the current climate crisis we are faced with. Action, led with grace and compassion, must be taken to restore the balance between our environment and society. With intergenerational impacts in mind, I aim to take strides in climate research to grow in understanding and wisdom about our world.
